Charlie Kirk’s suspected assassin shared messages detailing the aftermath of the killing via an online chatroom, authorities said. 

Tyler Robinson, 22, was arrested on Thursday after allegedly killing the 31-year-old conservative activist as he spoke at a university event in Utah.

Authorities said he inscribed messages on bullets referring to internet culture and anti-fascist sentiments before firing the shot that killed Kirk on Wednesday.

A roommate told officers that Robinson discussed the engravings and his movements after the killing on Discord, authorities said.

Discord is a chat room and gaming platform used for communicating with others, typically over a shared interest.

Investigators probing Kirk’s death said Robinson posted messages on Discord saying he needed to retrieve a rifle from a drop point.

The messages also reportedly described how Robinson wrapped a rifle he is alleged to have used in a towel and stashed it in a bush. Authorities said Robinson further detailed that he used a scope and changed outfits.

According to Utah Governor Spencer Cox, one of the bullets was engraved with ‘Notices bulges OWO, what’s this?’, a meme used to troll ‘furries’ and transgender people in internet culture.

Furries are a community who adopt anthropomorphized animal personas, sometimes in a sexual contents.

Website ‘Know Your Meme’ points to the phrase reportedly engraved on the bullet being used online to troll Furries.

Another said ‘Hey Fascists! Catch’, alongside an up arrow, a right arrow symbol and another three arrows pointing downwards.

The arrows could be a reference to the Iron Front, a paramilitary group set up in opposition of the Nazi Party during the Weimar Republic period in Germany.

Another was engraved with the words of prominent Italian anti-fascist song ‘Bella Ciao’, which is dedicated to the Italian resistance who fought against Nazism.

The final unfired casing was inscribed with: ‘If you read this you are gay LMAO’, Cox added.

Officials said in recent years he had become more political, and mentioned Kirk going to Utah Valley University.

Governor Cox added: ‘In the conversation with another family member, Robinson mentioned Charlie Kirk was coming to UVU.

‘They talked about why they didn’t like [Kirk]and the viewpoints that he had.’

Robinson is alleged to have said at dinner with family that ‘Kirk was full of hate and spreading hate’.

Robinson arrived on the UVU campus driving a gray Dodge Challenger, before opening fire on the 31-year-old conservative influencer, police said.

He was dressed in a plain maroon T-shirt, light-colored shorts, a black hat with a white logo and light-colored shoes.

Cox said Robinson was wearing clothing ‘consistent’ with this outfit when he was detained around 10pm local time Thursday.

FBI Director Kash Patel claimed the capture of the suspect was ‘historic’ – patting the bureau on the back for bringing the manhunt to an end within 33 hours.

Robinson lives in a $600,000 six-bedroom home in Washington, Utah – about 260 miles south of Kirk’s assassination in Orem.

His family’s social media show Robinson, with his brothers, enjoying vacations and sharing selfies, including some celebrating the alleged killer getting into college.

President Donald Trump said he now wants to see the killer get the death penalty for the assassination of Kirk, who he described as the ‘finest person’.

Kirk, a father-of-two, known for his fierce MAGA views and debates with college kids across the country, collapsed immediately after being hit by the gunfire.
