Incredibly, the viral ‘Phillies Karen’ has managed to remain hidden from internet sleuths after screaming at a dad for giving ‘her’ home run ball to his young son on Friday night.
But she hasn’t been able to escape the wrath of the social media meme makers, who have gleefully had their fun at her expense after her shocking antics at Friday’s Philadelphia Phillies game against Miami Marlins.
A home run from Harrison Bader landed near her in the stands but Drew Feltwell managed to get his hands on the loose ball first and immediately gave it to his nine-year-old son, Lincoln.
But Lincoln only had it for a matter of seconds. The ‘Karen’ stormed over and screamed at the father, demanding he gave her the ball that she inexplicably believed belonged to her. Eventually, Drew and Lincoln gave in, but it was victory at a massive cost for the woman, who is now viral across the internet for all the wrong reasons.
One of the most merciless memes involved the use of AI, and saw the woman’s face transform into the Lord of the Rings character Gollum after getting the ball from the father and son.
Gollum is a monster from the hugely popular series of books and films that is obsessed with reclaiming the ring that the franchise is based around.
The identity of ‘Phillies Karen’ has remained unknown but she is being ripped on the internet

One merciless meme compared her to the Lord of the Rings character Gollum

Others joked that the woman’s Halloween outfit was a good idea for a Halloween costume
Another meme mocked the woman by using the picture of Lincoln meeting Bader after the game in what was a classy response from the Phillies after learing what happened.
The MLB star gifted Lincoln a signed bat – but a meme has now surfaced showign the woman photoshopped into the scene to look like she is demanding the bat from the boy as well.
Another popular meme joked that the woman’s outfit has become an early idea for Halloween at the end of next month.
Fans joked that you can not only buy the woman’s outfit but also a wig to copy her hair and a pair of glasses to recreate her look.
Drew and Lincoln gave an interview to NBC Philadelphia over the weekend about the incident that everyone is talking about.
‘I wasn’t very happy that we had to give it to her, but we can’t win,’ Lincoln sadly told NBC 10 Philadelphia. ‘She was going to get it anyways.
‘I’m happy I got to get something else. It was very, very fun getting to meet Bader,’ he added.
Drew added:Â ‘I don’t want her life ruined but she brought that on. She’s going to pay for that and it is not by hand.
‘I don’t wish any harm on her. Maybe she was in the moment. I’m not going to defend her.’
