Elon Musk’s Estranged Daughter Shuts Down Katniss Everdeen Comparisons: ‘I Was Born into the Aristocracy’

Vivian Wilson doesn’t hold back when it comes to dad Elon Musk — but that’s not the only topic she’s been addressing on TikTok recently

Elon Musk’s estranged daughter Vivian Wilson is aware of all the Katniss Everdeen comparisons — but here’s why she thinks they’re off-base.

The 20-year-old has become an outspoken critic of her billionaire father and her hot takes and fearlessness have some people saying she’s similar to the main character in The Hunger Games, famously played onscreen by Jennifer Lawrence.

“‘You’re like our Katniss Everdeen.’ No the f— I am not,” Wilson said in a humorous TikTok PSA posted on Wednesday, April 2.

Perhaps the biggest difference between the pair? Well, Katniss grew up poor.

“The book is about class struggles,” Vivian continued. “I was born into the aristocracy. Y’all need to stop saying this. It just makes me cringe honestly.”

While she doesn’t identify with Katniss, Wilson is a big fan of the franchise.

In an interview with Teen Vogue published last month, Wilson recalled that one of the essential debates of the franchise had a minor role in the post she made on social media when she came out as trans.

“I said, ‘I’m trans. She/her pronouns,’ ” she said. “Then in a different little text at the bottom-left of the picture was, ‘Are you Team Peeta or are you Team Gale?’ ”

“This was in the middle of my Hunger Games [phase] that lasted, like, eight years —like four years after the movies came out,” she added.

As her own answer to the question?

“I am Team Peeta, obviously,” she said. “Gale killed Katniss’ sister. F— that bitch.”

In Wilson’s interview with Teen Vogue , she also said that mom Justine Wilson, an author and her dad’s first ex-wife, “was very supportive of my transition,” while her dad was not.

“First of all, I had not talked to him in months — in months — so I had to get f—— parental consent to get testosterone blockers and [hormone replacement therapy].”

In the past, Musk has claimed he was “tricked” into allowing Vivian to undergo transgender-related medical treatment when she was 16 — a claim that Vivian previously called a “lie” in an interview with NBC News.

Meanwhile, while speaking with YouTube Hasan Piker last month, she didn’t hold back when giving an assessment of one of the last interactions she had with her dad.

“[It] was arguing about wearing a mask,” she said.

“He sent me this GIF of a sheep and said, ‘Stop being sheeple,’ ” she added. “It was cringe.”
