Although he passed away in 2009, the King of Pop Michael Jackson still attracts public attention, and recently, a strange hypothesis has appeared that has made his name a hot topic once again: Could Michael Jackson be a time traveler?
The theory originated from the YouTube channel Fact5, which featured two historical artifacts that are said to bear an uncanny resemblance to Jackson. The first is a portrait called “Portrait of a Young Man” painted by the artist Barent Fabritius in the 1600s.
The painting is currently on display at the Städelsches Kunstinstitut in Frankfurt, Germany. The YouTube channel also pointed out that the face in the painting bears many similarities to the King of Pop , even leading viewers to question: did Jackson travel back in time and be portrayed by Fabritius?
Another artifact that Fact5 also brought up was an ancient Egyptian statue, currently located in the Field Museum in Chicago, USA. The narrator of the video emphasized that this statue also has facial features that are especially similar to Michael Jackson.
To increase the persuasiveness, the narrator also asked the question: “Is this evidence that Jackson traveled back in time and made his mark in art history?”. This question immediately made many people think, although many people also felt skeptical.
These claims have caused a lot of controversy online. Many people felt a little “creepy” when they saw the similarities, while others immediately dismissed the idea of time travel as absurd. Some commented bluntly that “Time travel is physically impossible.” After the comments were raised, Fact5 also clarified that the video was only for entertainment purposes and the time travel hypothesis was not taken seriously.
This isn’t the first time famous figures have been linked to ancient works of art. Nicolas Cage and John Travolta have been rumored to appear in ancient paintings, and images of strange faces have been said to be “incarnations” of famous modern figures. However, most of these similarities have been explained away as coincidence or the human imagination rather than any real evidence of time travel.
However, the similarities between Michael Jackson and historical artifacts are still interesting, showing the admiration and desire of people to discover extraordinary things. The story of Jackson does not stop at his talent or the scandals that once surrounded him, but now also includes interesting mysteries, making fans even more curious about the life of the King of Pop.
Ultimately, the theory of Michael Jackson and time travel remains a fantasy and has no scientific basis. Coincidental similarities like these are a reminder that humans have a tendency to find wonder in the ordinary. Is it possible that the truth is stranger than fiction? The answer remains open, but one thing is certain: Michael Jackson will always live on in the hearts of his fans, no matter what time it is.
